Thank you for visiting the Step for Hope page.   This is the information page for the Step for Hope 5k Run/1 Mile walk.  After my diagnosis, it was important to me to raise awareness to the disease so many know so little about and also support others who are suffering from something similar or have lost a loved one to a brain aneurysm.  Along the way, my life crossed path with another incredible survivor and together we are organizing the first run/walk in our area.   There really is power in numbers so what better way to celebrate the life of both survivors and ones who have passed and left their legacy than to Step for Hope!  This page will give all the important information you need from pre-registration to post-race wrap up.

  1. Roopa,

I just read all your posts on your page….I’m touched….with your struggles and your strength and the grace of how you handle it all. You are my hero.

I didn’t want to say anything at work to you, but felt the need to just say that to you privately.

I am very proud to be running in this race!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Alison
